Growth

Finding More Than Experience

At first, Ardisa simply wanted to gain new experience in the working world and business.

She learned how to follow SOPs, understand recipes, and work within a structured system.

But over time, she found something more meaningful through the process.

Belonging

Comfort in the Workplace

Ardisa feels comfortable working at Kopi Cinta. Even though she sometimes feels tired, she still goes through it happily.

For her, being here feels meaningful because she is part of a team and a space that continues to help her learn and grow.

Challenge

When Communication Takes More Effort

As a Deaf person, Ardisa’s biggest challenge is communication. She often relies on lip-reading, which can be difficult when people speak too fast.

Even so, she continues to learn, adapt, and find ways to understand and be understood.

Writing Helps make information clearer.
Gestures Supports everyday communication.
Sign Language Creates better access for Deaf individuals.

Her Hope

Through her experience, Ardisa hopes hearing people can become more aware of the importance of communication access for Deaf individuals.

Whether through writing, gestures, or sign language, every effort can help make communication more inclusive.

Because for her, access is not just about understanding words— but about making sure no one is left out of the conversation.
